VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

We cannot wait for you to join us for the BEST night of the year! You will be a blessing to our celebrated guests.

Please read all information before filling out your form:

– Please refer to the photo on the home page for date, time and location. – All volunteers will be emailed a map, schedule, and more information about training. – WE WILL HAVE A MANDATORY WALK-THROUGH at SBU about a week before the event (day and time TBA), as it is a new venue for us. This is so everyone can help our guests as much as possible on February 7!

– Young people can volunteer. Volunteers 10-15 can help decorate, or stay with a parent or guardian, with a permission slip from a parent or guardian, but we ask that they do not enter the dancefloor this year, create noise, or run around the venue due to our guests’ special needs. Please do not bring very young children. – Volunteers 16 or 17 years of age may volunteer for most positions with a permission slip from a parent or guardian. They may not fill a Buddy position without being one-on-one with an adult Buddy.

– We must have new background checks every two years, since our guests are some of our most vulnerable citizens. If you are new to our crew, please click the link at the bottom after you’ve filled out your registration. Background checks are only for people ages 18+. – Please go ahead and complete a background check even if you’ve had one done for your work or another organization. – Donating the $7 fee (or not) is totally anonymous, and your results are strictly confidential. By law, the company who does these for us must list everything they CAN check for, but what we do consists only of those things that would make someone a danger to a vulnerable person. We must do these for everyone’s safety.

– Please fill out your background check first. Make sure to navigate back to this registration page, fill out your information, and hit “Submit” to ensure your registration goes through.
